We Specialize in Energy Efficient Conversions
Republic ITS has purchased and installed over half a million light emitting diode (LED) traffic signal retrofit kits in more than 100 public agencies, which is more LED's than any entity in the United States, public or private. We have integrated the LED traffic signal lamp retrofit process from purchasing the lamps, to installation, to support after the sale. In other words, we are able to provide turn-key energy efficient LED retrofit projects to public agencies that make financial sense.
In addition, we have completed the conversion of over 50,000 streetlights in numerous municipalities using energy efficient induction, LED and standard HID fixtures. We specialize in maintenance, so we are familiar with and favor fixtures that are well designed and provide the longest maintenance-free service. We have extensive experience in assisting in the selection of appropriate fixtures, making test installations, light level studies, and interacting with the public to promote widespread acceptance of new lighting technology.
